death grips hahahahahaahhhaha
real talk though I really enjoy the production on Death grips records - especially niggas on the moon.
Flatlander for me does an incredible job and stands out as one of the more unique producers of our time. I just wish he had solo stuff. I do have respect for Zach hill, his drumming style and Flatlander's production go hand in hand perfectly. But I fail to take mc ride seriously most songs. Most songs I just sorta try my best to ignore his vocals and focus on the production but obviously that's kinda hard. I do wish they would release all the instrumental versions of their music. Especially exmilitary, really dig the production on that album

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I know it's kind of his 'thing' and I do think it enhances many parts of a lot of tracks but I just wish Ride would chill out a bit sometimes
Can't have highs without the lows, ya know

Do you like Zach+Andy productions like Face Tat, Lil Scuzzi or "I've always been good at true love"?
If not, it's just that you just prefer instrumentals over songs in general. DG wouldn't be DG without MC Ride.

I get that he's obviously the face of Death Grips, and for the right reasons.
His vocals on Exmilitary are top notch and basically make the album. But I can't help but feel like the production on most of their albums are sawly underrated. With GP being their lowest rated album I can't help but feel like fans are listening for MC Ride over the production or drumming which kinda hurts

Sweet, is there any intrumental versions of Niggas on the Moon by any chance?
>>63428735
I think the production and drums are the best part of Death Grips. Makes for a very unique sound.
If it was just Ride over generic-sounding music I wouldn't be interested.

No, TPTB haven't had their instrumentals released. There is this fanmade instrumental for Fuck Me Out, though it isn't perfect:

Death Grips are not a fucking joke

You just described most of Guillotine here. I still can't understand how this track is so popular... Maybe the imagery, the memes, whatever, I don't really know.

its pretty fun music honestly, raw and primal

I definitely would rather have the instrumentals without Ride than Ride over different music, but Death Grips wouldn't be Death Grips without Ride's vocals and lyrics.

Inanimate Sensation makes me headbang much more than Guillotine. Guillotine is such a weird track, more easy listenable than the rest of ExM, but lacks the energy of it. To me, it's a just a good test track for bass speakers but nowhere headbang inducing.
>>63429432
>but nowhere headbang inducing.
wrong, ill give you inanimate, but that is just wrong, its even more headbanging when live and they play it with the high hats
