So I've been visiting here a few dozen times a year since 2011.
I've never been a heavy user on this board because I've never been turned on to any of my top favorites from here.
Hoping to change that.

Here is my first chart.
>Note: None of the albums on this chart were discovered from browsing /mu/.

Any recs would be appreciated. I'll do my best to rec as well.

Also, how do I get my album covers to not look like compressed garbage using Topsters?

I tried finding the smallest images I could.

Tried that Foxygen album when it came out and Im definitely not a fan. Appreciate the rec though.

And i've been following Zach Hill's career since Hella - no 666 in outer space. That includes his solo stuff, Cryptomnesia album he did with Omar & Cedric of the Volta, and i've listened to everything DG since the day the Guillotine video was first uploaded. GP is for sure my second favorite album behing TMS.

Thanks man. I keep seeing that name Julia Holter. I usually take the hint when a name keeps popping up like that. I'll check both those recs out.

Im actually going to see Deerhunter live on april 20th. Big fan of the Logos album from Cox and the later Deerhunter albums. He's gonna be playing with Melodys Echo Chamber. I see you like Beach House too so I think you would definitely like MEC. Even though im not a fan of Kevin Parker of Tame Impala(he did the music on MEC's album but I think its way batter than Tame Impala. So give her a look-see if you haven't yet thanks again

Honestly It kind of hurt to put Noctourniquet in the place of De-loused but I think these 3 albums show off their growth and versatility most effectively. I love all their albums (Octahedron excluded) equally for different reasons. De-loused is too similar sounding to Frances( which I believe is the superior album) and Bedlam( even though I love that album) is too similar to Amputechture, which again, I believe is the better album.
