On this fine day, it is Claire Boucher aka Grimes birthday.
Now i know that many of you like her, praise her, worship her even. So let us make this a special day for her by spamming her threads. Not just on this board, but on all the boards! Let people know that there is a wonderful musician out there, who's intention it is to bring people joy.
Now, i know that many of you hate her. But really, i ask of you, look into your hearts and ask of yourself, why? Why this vitriol for a person who is trying to appeal to the emotional? Is it necessary to keep them down? Why waste time hating her for the depravity that some of her fans might exude?
I know that many of you that like Claire also like to focus on her appearance and so forth. But since it is not in her interest that people do so, and since it after all is her birthday, and since we are doing this to celebrate her, let us also do it to her satisfaction.
So let us try to keep all the threads alive in a civil manner. Let us try to stear them in a direction where we focus on her music and the things that she loves. And Let us try to make this day a wonderful experience for a person who just wants to do right by the world.

While that is true, this thread won't specifically be about her but rather about her interests. She's an avid reader and has been so since childhood, which i am sure that many of you can relate to. Now, some of her favourite books include Lord of The Rings, Mists of Avalon and Dune, with Dune being at the top of her list. She also read a bit of Heidegger which seems to be popular on this board, but i thought we might keep an overall theme of Dune since she really seems to enjoy that.
