The song's off of 69 Love Songs, which I think is a monumental piece of art. Definitely worth a listen. 3 hours of short love songs, varying in quality and seriousness.
You're a much more talented singer than I am (not saying much) but I'm better at tuning my guitar. :^)

Just a little song and recording I did.
>>63332043
while it's clear you're a girl, I pictured a prepubescent boy singing this
You sound like you have a New England accent. Specifically sounds like you're from Hahtfohd.
Pretty solid cutecore tho. You sing with lots of personality.
>>63332293
Oh god, that made me laugh. I get that fairly often when I speak to people online too.
I've never been to New England, but thank you I suppose? I'm from the Midwest and have a very heavy accent. But thank you! I appreciate it. Here's me singing Creep, kinda.

>>63331789
I liked it, you've thrown a b minor in the verses have you? Good for an acoustic version
>>63332043
Really nice melody there
>>63331980
its a great song. listening to it atm
>>63332448

>>63332409

>>63331980
I'd also never heard this and I'm really liking this
>>63331789

So how many of you guys have actually been to singing classes/training and such?
I'd like to sing, but I'm too nervous to do it in front of people.
>>63338905
I took some vocal lessons here and there. I'm still a ways from sounding amazing, but i'd recommend vocal lessons to anyone on this planet, as they help tremendously. I also absolutely HATE singing in fron of people

>>63338905
Just experiment with your voice without straining. Read about pranayama and open throat technique.
No Love

I did this for an /mu/ sings in 2014 but it was never finished, shame, I thought I did pretty good for a white man.

I actually see a lot of potential here. You have a wonderful voice, interesting melodies and a strong song structure. Rehearse the material, get a full band behind it and I think it would sound great. Are you going for like a "soft and melodic at first, but then harder and a bit chaotic but sitll kind of catchy" thing? Because that's what I'm imagining
http://vocaroo.com/i/s1MrXhFTSKXX
>>63339585
yeah, i was thinking like a loud/soft kind thing with whammy on the soft parts and distortion on the louder parts. my rehearsing conditions are not exactly ideal right now. thanks for the compliments though yo.
>>63339398
hi this is nice
>>63339175
solid comeback from a rocky start. points for gusto.
these are my favorite threads please don't die
>>63339661
Yea, I totally get that, I'm a bit in the same way myself.

is anyone up for requests on just singing?
>>63340327

i was wondering how it was going
>>63340368
I can't sing for shit. I just want to hear people sing stuff. Its interesting. So you're good with taking requests? Quick question, do they have to be "serious" requests?
