is grizzly bear any good?

not really
no. just boring indie
They have like three really great songs. Thanks for reminding me OP, gonna listen to them right now.
Ed Droste and Ezra Koenig are the two worst "indie" musicians around today. Prove me wrong.
>>63286046
why don't you listen to them and find out rather than looking for validation from strangers on the internet
I love Southern Point
That's all I really know

Yeah Ed is a bit of a knob. I mainly listen to Grizzly Bear for Daniel Rossen. I really enjoyed his EP. Hope he releases more solo stuff.

they're great, everything after Veckatimest is pretty weak though. Yellow House is their best, and contrary to /mu/'s belief they don't have much in common with Vampire Weekend and likes. Most of their fans are your typical "so indie" girl, that's why they're not popular here
JUST BECAUSE

thread. saw him play a solo set a few years ago. good stuff.
>>63286234
Ezra is a legit talent though
>>63286268
yea i would stop there. only good song on veckatimist
>>63286312
Have you listened to Department of Eagles?
>>63286234
>Ezra
>worst "indie"
right, he's actually the best pop songwriter of our generation, he just doesn't get a time slot during the Grammys
>>63287071
nah
You guys shitpost Grimes allday long and think ezra and ed are "indeh".
Both Grizzly Bear and Vampire Weekend have put out really great albums.

On A Neck, On a Spit is a top-tier prog-folk song

Agreed with this. Grizzly Bear's early stuff was phenomenal. It was during Veckatimest that they became genetic indie pop.
Keep in mind that Grizzly Bear were first around when generic vaguely indie-sounding pop was becoming a thing
