Looking for albums somewhat like any/all of these
HAVE TO BE ACTUALLY SIMILAR
Miles Davis - On the Corner/ Bitches Brew (no Sextant)
Fela Kuti - Afrodisiac
Can - (Damo Trilogy)
Radiohead - TKOL
Exuma - Exuma
Comus - Comus
Flying Lotus - Los Angeles
Scott Walker - (Dark Trilogy)
Animal Collective - Hollindagain
Pic unrelated

>Exuma - Exuma
Exuma II. thank me later OP
Bump because I need more. I've been obsessed with loops and repetitive tribal jamming stuff.
Listen to this and all other albums (as well as the stuff from the unreleased/unfinished 5th album) from their original lineup, and even some of the stuff from the new lineup(s).
Thank me like crazy later.
>similar to Can sort of, very unique
And this is very similar to AnCo from around their Hollindagain/HCTI era, pretty great

Hey fuck you
>>63219582
Whoa holy shit thank you
>>63219561
like I said, >>63219582
>loops
And maybe check pic related out? Not exactly that kind of thing explicitly but I listened to it today and it's on the top of my mind.
>>63219641
haha yeah totally man
General unique music thread if you have something totally singular you can't find anywhere else, rec
>>63219764
If it's cool to be as basic to ask for recs based on this, I'd like recs based on this. The use of tempo as an istrumental factor through the use of the drum machines is something that has untapped potential I feel like. There's stuff similar to what I'm looking for on Mark Stewart & Maffia's album Learning to Cope with Cowardice (specifically the song None Dare Call It Conspiracy).
Basically just stuff with a pulsing tempo/beat that is demented and twisted beyond sanity.

I feel like Xiu Xiu bears some resemblance to this on some tracks.
Hushed repetitive drum machine and crazy screaming.
Neu, Swans, Einsturzende, Throbbing Gristle, Black Dice?
>>63219911
True true
I've listened to the first two albums and La Forêt (and some of Fabulous Muscles but that was kind of meh), anything else that is equally strong?
>>63219506
Elephant9,Reine Fiske–Silver Mountain
reminds me of miles on the corner era, underrated album from last year.
>>63219983
That's closest you'll get to suicide
>>63219965
>Einsturzende, Throbbing Gristle
Try some Cabaret Voltaire, though I've only heard Mix Up and that one comp of theirs that was originally released as a cassette on Industrial Records in like 1980 or something (forget the name).
>Neu
You've listened to 2 and '75 right?
As for what sounds like them look into some bands that have the motorik beat, I honestly can't think of any other bands that sound like them off the top of my head (I feel like I should) but the term "motorik" is something that should help you define the sound you're looking for.
>Swans
I want to know an answer to this too
>Black Dice
I should listen to some Black Dice
Maybe I'll like them now, it's been awhile since I've listened to them.
>>63220082
Black Dice is great
There's nothing like them
>>63220082

>>63220182
