I use Sony ACID, simply because when I was looking for a DAW I was already very experienced with Sony Vegas, and the interface and such is very similar. I felt right at home even though it was my first DAW.

I'm in a rock band, and I prefer Logic X and Reaper. Generally only working in audio, no software instruments.

Just started working on FL a few days ago, can anyone tell me how long it'll probably take me to make some decent stuff? I already know theory and whatnot I just haven't ever worked with DAW's.

Anyway, as someone who has used a ton I feel that FL most definitely has the easiest and most fluid work flow. Ableton kicks ass in its sample manipulation hands down, as well as live performing. Cubase can be amazing as fuck but it's work flow is complex as fuck. Reason is just really weird and different than the others as it loads its plugins differently. Logic is shit. Pro Tools is not a productiong DAW. I heard Bitwig is supposed to be good.

Define "decent".
Average, it'll take you about a year to make a presentable track. 3 years to make decent tracks consistently. 5 years to really be able to experiment and be innovative with the DAW. At this point you can also move on to other DAWs.
