Kendrick Lamar just put out a collection of B-sides that is probably the best rap album of 2016 so far.
Kanyes new album was good unless you are "too cool" to like Kanye.

I can't stop listening to The Life of Pablo personally, but for some reason it kinda has an effect like MGSV. It just seems like it's unfinished, a lot of tracks just suddenly end. It is really good though.

TLOP is 18 tracks long - there's good stuff and definite fillers
I feel like if Kanye took his time, finished/polished all the songs, and set it up as an album with a flow and theme and sonic solidarity, it would be a great album

TLOPS worth a listen but definitely the middle to lower tier of Kanye's discog.
Untitled Unmastered by Kendrick this year is great. You owe it to yourself to check out all his albums though, I'd recc listening to section. 80 last as it's his weakest IMO.
BJ the Chicago kids new album this year hasn't gotten that much attention but has some decent songs.
