it's OK but why does the media keep trying to convince people that perry farrell is still relevant?
>>63163672
example?
>>63163702
he was just booked for the david bowie tribute concert, despite no one being born after the 80's knowing who the fuck he is
CASH IN NOW BAAAAYBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
>>63163792
people born after the 80's aren't relevant.
on a more serious note, half the people that would go to a bowie tribute concert are old.

definitely overlooked in a lot of music circles.
great record.
Nothing's Shocking, Farrell screams like a banshee. Mixing styles by David Bowie and Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and Navarro imitates Tom Verlaine, and the lyrics they sing are of urban desolation. Frantic and disorganized, the disc takes cues from different genres: the heavy metal assault of Kiss in Mountain's Song, the psychedelic and mystical Up The Beach, the Wild Thing riff in Panzers version Ocean Size, the apotheosis symphonic rock Summertime Rolls romantic, melodramatic hyper-distorted blues of Led Zeppelin in Ted Just Admit it long manifesto sadist (Farrell shouting "sex is violent" on the tribal rhythm and the Nazi machine-gunning of Navarro).

Love it, own the album, and like Porno for Pyros.
Actually, the other night I was listening to Summertime Rolls and cried a little. It made me remember better times in my life. I'm glad I can attach myself to what I love.

uh, some correct parts, but wrong order. its all very california. Stooges and bauhaus , general opus nature of zepplin, but would never connect zep and ted just admit it.stooges, not verlaine. zep mixed with cali punk, and funk
kinda a shapeless moment, really
