What MP3 player does /mu/ use?
I currently listen to music on my iPhone, but my music collection has grown way too large (in excess of 100GB). Looking for a standalone music player to be able to take it all on the go.

i use iTunes Match on my iPhone for 25 dollars a year and I love it except for iTunes fucking up my tagging system but oh well, unlimited wifi streaming and easy instant downloads on my phone, no horrible syncing, and no size limit.
120gb iPod classic. Had it for about 8 years. Only started to lag a bit due to my collection getting bigger.

100gb isnt large. I mean the discography of the beatles, michael jackson, david bowie and the rolling stones would probably get up to 100

A patrician 160Gb Ipod Classic
Used to have a 120gb classic iPod, and tons of others in between, but I've had an iPod Touch for 2-3 years now. For my birthday, I'm gonna get a 160gb iPod Classic, because my music collection rn probably need a shit ton of storage to fit in. 10/10 would recommend iPod Classic to basically anyone who likes listening to lots of music, the storage is insane
My 32gb note 3 + 128gb micro sd
Two 160gb ipod classics and one nano 16gb for if I ever start working out again.

160gb iPod Classic. I'm pissed that they stopped making them because mine is pretty much full and I wanted to get a second one.

>iPod Classic
just get a fiiO x1 or x3.

I used to have a 160gb Classic, some people seem to love them but my experience was terrible. The interface is fine, the device itself works great, but the flaw is in the mechanical drive. I tried to take good care of them but as soon as you drop them you get fucking corrupted sectors and shit, and not to mention if you accidentally unplug that shit while its syncing it breaks entirely.
tldr don't buy a classic

Agreed, same simplicity as a classic but better and without a cancerous mechanical drive.
I use a Nano.

X5 with 2 128 SDs. I dig it.
