One of the Young brothers is already dying of Alzheimer's. I guess this will be the end of the band
>>63150468
It's dead in terms of the mainstream but there is still good young rock bands around.
>>63149322
AC/DC was already dead to me when it was reported Malcolm Young was being treated for dementia. I have to say I regret that I never saw them live.

Ghost seems to be breaking into the mainstream or is at least starting to become pretty damn popular. They performed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, a performance that was broadcast on national television. They won a Grammy for their song "Cirice". Now many argue over whether Ghost is metal or rock but I consider them to be both, a metal AND rock band.
Luckily I was able to see them back in August. It was a great show

I can see it on /r/4chan now

Well at least we have Airbourne. Their music has a pretty similar sound to AC/DC's. The lead singer even sounds a bit like Bon Scott and Brian Johnson.
AC/DC haven't been good since the 80s or whatever.
are they that inept with their money that they can't just retire?

Rock N' Metal
Who cares? Honestly, I don't get it.
I thought this was a board for the musically inquisitive, those interested in sonically novel, transcendent experiences.
Why would you give a hoot about AC/DC? I honestly don't understand that.

That aesthetic is reaching Steam-Powered Giraffes level of cringe-induction.
You're not being serious right now, right?
>Australians in charge of ears
I started liking Bon Scott era AC/DC after Marc Maron told me it was okay.
