this album is the best album this board has shed light upon to me. hospice is a close second. I'm surprised both aren't discussed more on here.
I'm surprised your parents didn't abort you
They've been /mu/core for years and I guess everything there is to be discussed has already been written

I personally enjoy F#A#Infinity quite a bit more. Dead Flag Blues is amazing.
I guess you love hands anon

This.
I don't know how can someone love this one more than F#A#Infinity.

You grab my hand, and we fell into it....like a day dream or a fever.

this is indeed a great album anon. my favorite from GY!BE
Hospice is okay although i don't enjoy that much anymore.
You should check out Spiderland by Slint

>You should check out Spiderland by Slint
Yes, he really should
>>63135342
yeah, I remember a lot more GY!BE threads ~2010. There was a lot more post rock in general.
Now /mu/ is in more of a hip hop & emo phase. Although I think the emo is starting to go as well.

>You should check out Spiderland by Slint
150 fucking percent

Agree.

Everytime I listen to this album I always feel overwhelmed, but in a good way. Even after at least 40 listens I still get it. Are there any other albums that evoke that same kind of feeling? I've listened to all of godspeeds stuff.

>tfw couldn't get tickets for GY!BE
I love Skinny Fists, and I quite like all of their albums.
LYSFLATH = f#a# > SRFNZK = Yanquis > the new two

2 of the worst albums i've ever heard. literally not memeing
>>63136154
I skimmed past that album for years. Not even joking. I always saw those four heads just buoyantly nodding there in the water and I always just scrolled past. It has literally become one of my favorite albums. I don't listen to it too often, because it is a special experience to me. I don't know what it is about it, but it's really powerfully written. There is a ton of dynamic on Spiderland.

I would like to know this, I get that same feeling. It's incredible, I rarely ever feel moved by music quite like that, and I'm still not sick of it after so many replays.
I tried Slint - Spiderland and just couldn't quite into it. I didn't like the vocals very much at all, but I did like the instruments. I think vocals ruin it for me, Sigur Ros grates me in the same fashion but I genuinely enjoy Agaetis Byrjun, Takk..., and (), whereas Slint's vocals just seem out of place, and don't match the music very well in my opinion.

This Will Destroy You - S/T

Suffocate For Fucks Sake - Blazing Fires . . .

This one is more of a sludge/post-metal release but it's certainly overwhelming, especially taking into account its theme.

yes you are, anon.
