I really enjoyed 14.12.28 Live at Golden Corral in Nashville, TN. This album showcases Jason's final performance before he died from Cirrhosis. You could feel the passion knowing this was the end. The 45 minute performance of "Burnin' It Down" was a intented thank you to the fans. I cried.

I am a big Jason Aldean fan. But this album doesn't really do it for me. I feel like the whole album is about how he messed up with his wife and now how he's showing off and having fun with his new girl . Let's hear about some outdoors, life, idk, something different I feel most of the tracks sound alike. There are a few songs that I can see being singles, but not many. Listen for yourself, this is just my opinion.
Meanwhile, Long Season seems like a completely honest album and to many it's like Shinji's farewell to fans. As much as I love Jason, I don't think he could pull off those vocals at all. His voice fits his style of music better. If they really announce a reunion with Jason replacing Shinji I'm still going to check it out and see them live, but I know it won't be the same thing.
