Despite the cookie-cutter distorted guitars present on just about every single song on the album, MCR, and Way especially, manages to pull off some incredibly catchy, singable, and melodious songs.
A few of the songs are kinda samey, but largely I'm pretty surprised at how diverse the sound and feeling is through the entire album. Again, only pulled down by those fucking stale guitars and Way slightly predictable singing.
It IS edgy highschool shit, but it's quality edgy highschool shit. A personal 7 or 8/10.

Teenagers would have been better as a standalone single or a B-side, it's a great song but really interrupts what would have been an incredible string of tracks

I'm not so hugely into it, but my gf is, and she is constantly listening to them around me. I've adopted "Mama" as my favorite track, so that's definitely worth a listen. "Cancer" is good but ridiculously sad for reasons that I'm gonna leave up to you to figure out.
