It's just a bad overall genre. However pic related, Less Than Jake, Operation Ivy and Streetlight Manifesto were pretty good for the genre.

Bosstones are/were pretty good too.
Only thing I don't like about RBF is their live shows. Seen them almost every year since 2008. SAME GODDAMN SHOW EVERY TIME. I love the band and I love supporting them, but fucking hell its getting old.

There are definitely some good 3rd wave ska bands out there, with some lesser spoken about ones being Spring Heeled Jack (U.S.A.), The Pietasters, General Rudie, Chase Long Beach, and, a band I just recently discovered, The Smooths.
