I've actually never been bothered by the noise, but I can see why some people would be. I just think it's kinda mediocre overall, most of the album is just poor noise laid over average pop songs or noisy interludes which range from pointless to god-tier.
That being said, Meet the Light Child is one of their best songs ever.
