But why do I have to explain an entire genre to someone? If they want to discuss it why don't they look it up I shouldn't have to spoon feed basic knowledge on a subject to have a conversation with someone about it.
Trap isn't something that can be explained at face value like shoegaze either, this is due to it's history. So the pest way for a person to learn is to look it up for themselves I feel like we have a discussion about trap all the time, so it's not something that should have to be explained.
It's hard to explain without an entire write up and delves into it's history and production styles. Trap is kinda a blanket term now because trap is filled with unique microgenre's now and you can't really just explain what it is unless people already have an idea.
