Yes it's really good, but it feels kinda safe. Especially in comparison to Yeezus and 808, it's a safe middle ground between the two, and thus the most popular.
Yeezus and 808s were definitely more experimental and to a certain extent more interesting. But MBDTF is a rock solid album, and that's hard to beat.
