There's a lot of thematic exploration going on in deans recent releases and if you don't know shit about black/uk culture I'm not surprised that you'd miss it. He doesn't have to be spitting multis over complex polyrhythms to be substantial, his music is about subverting cliches and unique juxtapositions of genre
