Where would your Eric Claptons and Rolling Stones of the world be without him? It still amazes me that people think that Crossroads and Love in Vain are Eric Clapton and Rolling Stones songs, even though it was Robert Johnson who originally wrote and performed them. Clapton and The Stones just re-interpreted them and made the songs their own.
This is one of my favorite records, it was such a good final album by BB

I saw him open for BB King once on his Living Proof tour. I've been a fan ever since. He completely blew me away. The song, 74 Years Young really took me by surprise because he basically started this intense soloing out of nowhere
