>unironically saying "hipster"
Hey there reddit
Depends, I know one guy who likes free-jazz, noise, drone and a lot of obscure hardcore punk, but the rest of my friends only listen to hardstyle or synthwave

It should be the other way around OP
Why does this board like E•MO•TION but hates on Torches ? They're on the same level of light hearted catchy poo songs
>>62911951
Wait is there a word filter on pop now or did I typo ?
>>62911951
one doesn't have a massive hit song
>>62911964
Actually I'm pretty sure they both did, CRJ had "I Really Like You" (worst song on the album tbqh idk why this one got viral) and FTP had "Pumped Up Kicks"
>friends

Fandango did not gave it a good review so /mu/tants don't like it
>>62911951
a mix of >>62912016 and the fact that there are no qts with nice legs in foster the people
>>62911216
This is such a catchy album, nothing wrong with it. The rest of their stuff is pretty unlistenable.

I honestly don't understand why this is so. I'm guessing people are being petty and just remembering being annoyed by the radio hit even though that song is the outlier on the album
While most of my friends like rap of most varieties, they can't tolerate trap-rap. I have a friend who loves grime for its minimal aesthetics and angry tone, but still doesn't like trap.
Trap rap feels like a full circle to me. Grime is an English response to hip-hop, all these poor black kids who have no culture creating this super dark music. Trap is then american youths appropriating the sound.
Anything by Death Grips, Bruce Springsteen's Nevada, anything by Xiu Xiu, Strong Persuader by Robert Cray, and Gyatso 16-17

Seriously where do you find these people, the ones I know only listen to pretty mainstream music and they never listen to entire albums.

Completed under rated too. Less of that radio rock feel as the first, more atmospheric and just more experimental.
