It's not a bad album, just incredibly inconsistent. It's highs are on par with Kanye's best work, but the lows are as bad as we've heard Kanye. I'd give it a 6/10, better than Yeezus, but worse than the rest of his discography.

What I will say, 11 tracks in, is that it feels really short. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
The more you listen to it, the less charming the glaring flaws become.
It's a rushed mess. No amount of mental gymnastics can change that. You can only pray with the apparent re-release Kanye takes his time, otherwise he's going to be in a load of shit with his fans.
On a side note, we are at an interesting crossroads with Kanye. He will either
1. Realize his glaring mistakes, fix the record, go onto whatever his next project is.
or
2. Ignore criticism, maintain that Pablo is actually an intentional mess. Which, compounded with his TiDAL marketing gimmicks, complete meltdown of public persona, and following the Taylor debacle, will finally fall from grace. His detractors have infinite ammo to hate him, his fans are getting pissed, and the only result is him falling to irrelevancy and being seen as that goofy arrogant black man.
As much as I'm a Kanye fan, the second is much, much more likely.

I like it but it also depends on my mood, yesterday I listened to it and felt it disappointing and this morning it felt like the best record.

This really shows how insecure he is about the album and how he can't possibly blame himself for its quality. p4k gave him a 9.0, most artists would take that and run, especially with an album that's barely a 7.0, and that's just from some exceptional tracks.

This is gonna get buried as usual, but posting my list will help me organize my thoughts about this record. So here we go.
MBDTF>808s>TLOP=Yeezus>CD>LR>Grad (>WTT>CS)
Yeah. That seems about right. Despite Kanye thinking it's not his best, MBDTF is still a masterpiece, as is 808s. I would actually almost put 808s, TLOP, and Yeezus all on the same "tier" of being second-place - none of them are quite as good as MBDTF, but all have about as many good parts as bad parts. They're also all so different that it's difficult to compare them, so I just went with personal preference & nostalgia. The last three don't need much explanation.
Pablo is a pretty good record. It's about what I wanted from him, so I enjoy it, all memes aside.
