I'm giving this a light 6. It's pretty generic hip-hop. Not much flavor and the lyrics are pretty whack. the instrumentation is sub-par and general flow of the album seems very weak. The mastering and production on most songs seems janky and rushed. The album cover design is atrocious. It has it's moments but it's nothing special, just average.

Facts and Fade are still good and fit the album and they come after wolves. NMPLA is bad and doesn't fit the previous tracks or the ones that come after it. You're shit for brains and should get your fucking ears checked.
Really wanted to like this LP but there's no way around it, its just a huge disappointment. Aside from FSMH, NMPILA and ULB, all the tracks feel extremely drab, uninspired with bland stripped down production. For the first time on a Kanye record I felt like he wasn't even trying to do anything heartfelt, different or interesting, this is just a half baked thrown together mess

not particularly impressed. none of the songs really click with me or seem to have staying power, and autotune is just obnoxious at this point. nothing even comes close to all day, which wasn't kanye's best track to begin with.
Big fan so far, but it feels like the album, I dunno, stutters a bit.
You just get into the flow of it, and then something like Freestyle 4, Silver Surfer Intermission or Facts comes and fucks it up.
Individually most of the tracks are great, but it doesn't have the cohesiveness of MBDTF, and I think it suffers for it.
It's probably reflective of Kanye's current state though,and Yeezus had a similar feel, although TLOP has a more playful feel to it. I get the impression Kanye really enjoyed making this, whereas Yeezys felt a bit like a venting of frustration.
Ultralight Beam is top 5 all time Ye, though. Chance's verse is probably the best of the whole album. Overall probably 8/10

Kanye West has done it again. This sounds nothing like any other hip hop album out there.
His pushed the boundaries again. I know its early, but I won't hesitate to compare this to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
