Maybe it has shallow lyrics, but it's a classic 2010s Kanye banger and is the only 2015/2016 track that has super detailed production comparable to MBDTF. Also the ending is crazy

it's definitely a marketing ploy, but i also think kanye is kind of throwing stuff on/taking stuff off at the last minute. it comes off as really sloppy, to be honest.
i think something similar happened with YEEZUS where they only really worked on it for 3 months or something, and one of the producers was like 'oh see we can throw something together that really bangs in a short period of time.'
