You know, this cover could be interesting in the implications behind its existence. Like, just how far gone is Kanye to let THIS be the cover? And even then I think that's reflected in what we heard today - that shit seemed so scattershot and incohesive that I'm wondering if Kanye has legitimately lost his shit. It's almost like a screenshot of some degenerative mental illness or something.

I'm still surprised by the way some people expect album covers from famous artists to always be some impressive Vermeer-tier artwork, then criticize it when it "looks like it's been done in five minutes" or is "boring".
Simplicity can work perfectly if it's done well — and music doesn't even need cover art, it's just something extra.
Sometimes designers mess up a bit, I don't think the cover art for Blackstar was good for instance because it wasn't balanced, but The Life of Pablo is fine. Unimpressive but good.
