this group really got passed over. there were only a handful of groups doing this kind of music then. Tortoise had a few records, Mogwai was around the same time, these guys just got forgotten. nothing on youtube, even.
the album opens with Hoover Dam Theme, and the next 3 tracks are musical takes on different views of it (from under the water, from space, close up) really interesting ideas and instrumentation. I think there's a glockenspiel?

I agree that Romeo and Ch-Ching are trash, but I honestly mostly enjoyed the rest of the album, save for the cringeworthy "he's just that kind of man, mama" bit on Moth to the Flame and some other stuff I'm probably forgetting too. Definitely agree that it doesn't match up to Something at all, but it's a pretty catchy distraction.
