It's a double album, and both sides are very consistent. The first disc is full of dance-y and relatively simple songs like a lot of what appears on their S/T, while the second disc has longer, more experimental, and more meaningful songs. Like I said, both sides are very good throughout, but they're very different

I've always been a fan of the more serious and lyrically reflective LCD songs. All My Friends, New York I Love You, Home, that whole deal. The second disc of this album is very similar to those songs, and I think some of the new songs are better than anything they've put out before.

They're more his own, and that's one of my favorite things about the new album. As much as I love LCD's past albums, a lot of songs could be considered tributes at best, and complete rip-offs at worst. A lot of influences are still apparent on this album, but he's definitely matured musically into making full songs that aren't obvious tributes/ripoffs/whatever you wanna call them
