I'm talking about conspiracy theorists who maintain they're "just asking questions" when they know full well what they're doing. It's something people do when they don't have any actual evidence to prove whatever bullshit theory they believe in. It's a way to use leading questions to avoid providing evidence for poorly supported ideas and it's a way to try to suggest that pseudoscience is on equal standing of real science and that these hard hitting questions (that have most likely been refuted a thousand times) need to be answered.
If someone has a legitimate question, there's nothing wrong with asking. B.o.B. is clearly not asking because he wants a real scientific answer.
