Ya, this is my favourite album of 2014, but really the only songs that might give you that reaction are Party Police and Red Planet. Maybe The Agency Group. And Next of Kin. And Dives. Fuck, this is a sad album I just realized

It's weird though, this seems like the sort of album that college kids (and to a lesser extent high schoolers) would eat up. That sort of airyness and carefree atmosphere, seems like it should be the biggest thing.

Wow. Okay I'm glad I wasn't the only person on /mu/ that really liked this album. This was one of my favorites of 2014. Every track was awesome from start to finish.

Seen them live twice. They are so good. When I heard this album about a year ago, the first track, "Adult Diversion" made me feel like I did when I first got into independant music many years ago. It's rare that I get such a feeling of excitement and nostalgia from an album the way I do from this one. Amazing. It is definitely in my top 10. I know vinyl is generally frowned upon here but does anyone else have the light blue disc edition? It's very nice looking.

Really good album, great synthesis of indie rock and baroque pop with surprisingly good vocals and lyrics. Top 10 of 2014 for sure, wish I had been free to see them when they played a show in my town a few months back.
