Yeah, the comedown afterwords was killer though. After I started buying CDs with my allowance money I wouldn't pick it back up for a really long time. Getting the internet eventually also helped but I was still solidly a Born-to-later until at least 19 or 20 years old.

I was a poorfag throughout schooling, so i never got many albums. I did borrow my buddys copy of american idiot and ripped it onto my OG xbox though. Listened to it all the time while playing American Wasteland. Good times honestly. That Xbox had a lot of tunes on it. Every playlist i made was a different genre.
I had a lot of hip-hop. The College Dropout and Late Registration, Slim Shady LP, Bone Thugs and Three 6 Mafia, Lil Jon, Mike Jones, Outkast who knows what else.
I had like a matchbox 20 album and Songs About Jane and god help me there may have been some Nickelback on there too. Also Significant Other by Limp Bizkit but i'm not as ashamed about that. A lot of my friends were metalheads but I just wasn't about it
