I play Bass as a hobby, started out playing upright in school, now I just tinker around on a bass guitar.
But I don't feel inspired or like I'm getting any better. I want to be able to write bass lines for other parts and record stuff, but don't play any other instrument well. What should I do?

hate to be that guy, but you don't even play bass well. that bassline's weak, super basic indiecore stuff, and i'm pretty sure it's mostly ripped off some Arctic Monkeys song or other.
just practice bass, listen to lots of different music for inspiration, and learn guitar. Guitar will almost certainly help your bass playing.
If you listen to Rush you'll get better at the bass. It's essentially the same as practicing

you literally don't know what you're talking about. Go back to your I-IV-V Cmaj songs kid when you move on to the next level you can try to play subdivisions
Stop playing electric bass. Play upright instead. It's way better.
