So growing up, I loved bands like Moss Icon, Heroin, Universal Order of Armaggedon, William Martyr 17, Shotmaker and Portraits of Past. But what survives for this generation is Cap'n Jazz (admittedly pretty good) and an SDRE knockoff.
At least people don't spam bands like Promise Ring, Texas is the Reason and the Get Up Kids.

Everyone knows about Tim, Mike and Davey's stuff. I never hear people talk about Victor's post Cap'n stuff. He is an incredible guitarist with a distinctive style. He didn't release much, but what's out there is great. This is without a doubt my favorite post Cap'n Jazz album.

I'm not sure. I've got good bandmates, but there's not much of a scene, so there's not any set attitudes. The few emo bands in my town are all pretty close knit now because we're trying to start a scene
maybe just get a good drummer and convert him to emo?
