StationToStation was released this day in 1976.
So pour yourself a tall glass of milk, dice those bell peppers and help yourself to any other candy you might have on hand, this thread'll be spinning Bowie's great funk masterpiece all day. (metaphorically.)
Would this album be enjoyed more if I was on cocaine?
Always been one of my favorites. This album reminds me a lot of Smile by the Beach Boys in the sense that it's somebody at their lowest point in life attempting to sound somewhat sane. God he sounds so depressed on this album yet there is so much beauty in it.

Title track is goat
>>61962240
Nope. I don't get all this cocaine talk, it's a great album regardless.
It's pretty dull.
It's no Iggy Pop but it's pretty good!
>>61962279
Don't get me wrong, I still love it, but I wonder if I would love it more if I was high
>>61962279
You dont get it?
>>61962240
It would be a side effect of the cocaine.
not a weak track to be found desu, even if some of the songs were improved during his isolar tours
>ywn read the return of the thin white duke

What's your favorite Iggy album?
Shout out to the garage sale with all the shitty christian music
>>61968549
Nice!
Just blasted it. What a beast of an album.
Low fell out of favor with me mostly due to being meme-blasted everywhere, but I'm bumping it now and it truly is killer. Bowie's 70's streak is absolutely dumbfounding.
>>61968549
imagine the average american buying this as it came out - the new album by that skinny guy who did fame and sang with cher on tv - and what they were thinking when they played the first track
>IT'S NOT THE SIDE EFFECTS OF THE COCAINE IM THINKING THAT IT MUST BE LOVE
Is this the greatest lyric he's ever written maybe even the greatest lyric any songwriter has ever written?
is STS his best album? Word on a Wing made me cry like a bitch
