Le Listens To Nirvana Once
>>61942295
Well presumably he okayed it and hopefully deleted any outright shit. Yeah never really excited about posthumous releases but I will give them a listen.

I'm kind of interested in this because it looks like Bowie actually arranged what he wanted released and in what order.
If the next album isn't called Meme School and doesn't feature Death Grips/Kanye/Kendrick/vaporwave style songs I will be disappointed.
This thread is depressing. Almost every post so far is just a shitty meme.

I was expecting worse, but if the article is to be believed, whatever is coming out was planned and ok'd by Bowie himself, so I guess I'm more ok with that than what they did do Michael Jackson where they literally scrapped for eveything they could.
Midly excited

I'm actually really upset that this board totally bought in to the hype. For years this board made fun of Kurt Cobain's fans, and at least knew that Nirvana was a decent, but not a great band. Just because a musician dies it doesn't effect anything. But because of this boards boner for memes and post-irony shitposters flocked to Blackstar like Jenny Death, then the normies soon followed.

Posthumous albums can either be an artist's finest accomplishment (Frank Zappa's Civilization Phaze III) or a blatant cash grab (Michael Jackson's Xscape).
Also, you can't fucking top an album about death from a dying person. If they have to milk his work for money, they should just make greatest hits albums.
