Chiptune is the most so. Even in rock music, you aren't limited to two pulse wave channels, a triangle wave channel, and a noise wave channel. You can do different stuff with a guitar.
Even when it isn't pure chiptune its infectious garbage. It's defined by being flat and uninteresting.
