if i like it, a bunch of times
if i don't, probably one time. or half a time, if it really sucks.
>>
Why would I listen to it even once when I could ask /mu/ or some critic if it's good

If I like it then hopefully forever, such as your pic related. I don't like a whole bunch of good albums on the first several listens so it can be difficult for me to get into new music.

2x

Half as many times as I listen to Fragile
>>
If I hate it or am bored with it, once.

If I like it, I'll pick a few songs I really liked and just listen to them

If I really like it, I'll listen to it time and time again

And if I fucking love it, I listen to it until I'm nauseated from it and never want to hear it again.

Why do we destroy the things we love?

Usually 3 or 4 is my standard to judge it. If it sounds bad, i stop. If i don't like it but it sounds complex and i feel like i didn't understand it yet i give it 1 or 2 extra listens just in case. If i like it i obviously listen to it whenever i can.

Recently I've been going the opposite of most- instead of finding an album I like and buying/downloading the best songs on MP3, I've been finding individual songs I like and buying the album without knowing 90% of it. I've found some really good albums I wouldn't have tried normally, and it feels more like when I was younger and I'd check the used CD store on the way home from school. Most albums I try 2-3 times before I move on, as a lot of songs don't click on the first listen. If I find an album I like I'll always go back to it.
