I think their lyrics are pretty good. Roger Waters for a lot of his career was a very good lyricist, finding a decent balance between "wake up sheeple" and being totally unremarkable.

Possibly, but Gilmour knew his style and stuck to it - although I'd say he was fairly versatile. He is a fantastic blues player.

I don't know. I think Pink Floyd's production was very good. Especially from AHM through to Animals. Which genres do you think have better production techniques?
