Ah well yeah sort of same here, a friend offhand recommended them to me and I checked them out, ended up loving them more than my friend does now haha. Their take on industrial is great. I love other, more "classic" industrial bands too (Minostry, Skinny Puppy, etc) but I like how with NIN, it's a lot more personal. (also the cliche "industrial" singing voice a lot of the more original bands use can be grating after a while)
...I'm gonna go make that other NIN thread now. Hopefully ya'll join me?
