What does /mu/ think of Paul Dano's rendition of God Only Knows?

Better than the original, in my honest opinion.
Classic.

On Jan 31, 2013 Youtube user mactazer submitted a video of just a still of Paul Dano labeled “classic Paul Dano” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RgcNMpQ1ME
/tv/ made threads pairing Paul Dano with the word classic
More Youtube Users Kitsch and Michael Brawley submitted Youtube videos in 2015 of Paul Dano getting beat up

Dano performed the Beach Boys tune “Barbara Ann” with Jimmy Fallon on November 13th 2015 to promote his movie “Love and Mercy” where the actor plays Brian Wilson https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtxFJmdtQJ4
Two days later Jimothy Studios used clips of Dano singing on Fallon and scenes from his movies (mostly him getting beat up) to the song “Classic Man” by Jidenna https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8zWs0V1eco
I'm loving Dano getting all these roles lately
Now if only he had gotten the Oscar nom he fucking deserved
>>61902045
yeah seriously. the movie wasn't amazing but both Dano and Cusack were great in it
>>61902045
>he had gotten the Oscar nom he fucking deserved
he's not black enough
gotta say its pretty damn CLASSIC
>>61902128
Dano was great in it, John Cusack was a bad casting decision IMO. It just looked like John Cusack pretending to be a fragile person, that didn't really translate to Brian Wilson for me.

You're still missing how it started. There was one of those "I'm an actor AMA" threads and everyone just figured it was Paul Dano so whenever someone would post about him people would assume it was just classic Paul shit posting about himself.
>>61902149
Well clearly that wouldn't have worked either.

i agree i was iffy about that casting choice. honestly i hated the juxtaposition of 60s brian with 80s brian. i get what they were going for but i feel like the movie would be infinitely better if they focused on just the evolution of 60s brian
