Well, 2016 is turning out to be a supremely disappointing year for festivals. The Shaky Knees lineup is complete dildos, and not this shit.

Have you ever been to one? Bonnaroo was amazing when I went in '13 and '14 but they've really shit the bed with the lineups this year and last year
What do expect from music festivals in 2016? They're to get people in with popular names not enrich audiences with decent bands

I read about this theory in some article that festivals are going to hit a peak, they used up all the headliners from rock, metal, rap, they will use up the edm ones, then i suspect in 10 years you will see some desperate moves like britney spears, then festivals are done.
Once all the headliners are used up then what makes your festival special.

you must be new to the festivals. Looks at some 10+ year old lineups, there have always been repeat artists. >>61886258 is essentially bonnaroo 2012 + 2007. about 80% of >>61886333 has played coachella before.
