Why is this such a happy looking album art?
>>
Your mom was flashing her tits when they took the picture
>>
You know, I have always thought this would be a great JUST picture if you put that dentist's hair on Iggy.
>>
idk but I love it so much it makes me all happy inside and give me a lust for life I am actually probably going to buy the vinyl next week and have it framed up all nice

Because he knew the song Lust for Life would be successful and he'd be able to buy some more heroine with the profits
>>
I can't get into this album. The production is so fuzzy that you think you're listening to an old 78 record from the 30s and the songwriting doesn't click with me at all.
>>
>>61875506
he was so confident it was going to be a success he even put a song on the album titled "Success"
>>
>>61875528
>>61875506
It was a big success in Yurop, but Elvis's death knocked it off the US charts. Bad timing is bad.
>>
>>61875520
How could you not get into this album? It's a classic. It's got Sixteen, The Passenger, Neighborhood Threat, the title track, Fall in Love with Me. Plus it has David Bowie on it, and you know how everybody now loves David Bowie because he's dead. That just makes the album even cooler, now. If you don't want to be a left out pleb, I suggest you give the album another chance.

irony

He knows that if the album sucked he could blame David Bowie
>>
>>61875520
1977 was a fairly weak year for rock anyway.
>>
>>61877657
>weak year for rock
>Animals
>I Robot
>News of the World
>Aja
>Marquee Moon

I'm just going to go ahead and assume that's bait to make it easier for everyone involved.

77 gave us...

>Heart - Dreamboat Annie
Get this shit out of my stereo.
>Kiss - Love Gun
Nah.
>Meatloaf - Bat out of Hell
Ewwww...
>Judas Priest - Sin After Sin
Bretty gud, but they were still growing as a band and hadn't developed their sound fully yet.
>Aerosmith - Draw The Line
Couple of decent songs, most of it is a mess.
>Ramones S/T
If you like punk (I don't).

78 gave us...

>Judas Priest - Stained Class
Classic. One of the defining metal records.
>Motorhead - Overkill
See above.
>Van Halen S/T
Set the stage for the 80s
>Are We Men?
Probably Devo's most consistent record.

You some kinda pleb?

because hes got a lust for life
>>
>>61877952

hey at least Love Gun had a great guitar solo from Ace
>>
>>61875436
>everything will be all right, tonight
>>
>>61877952
>>61877657
you're not going to like 77 if you don't like punk. Kind of an important year

>pink flag
>the clash s/t
>never mind the bullocks
>low
>heroes

77 is probably the 5 best years for rock music
>>
>>61877952
Where's Some Girls? How do you mention 1978 without that?
>>
>>61878377
Yeah...the punk explosion was partially due to the weakness of mainstream rock at that time.
>>
77 was a good year for pop, not a good year for rock.
>>
>>61878187
He doesn't get the credit he deserves. I know Dimebag Darrell said Ace was one of his heroes.
>>
>>61875469
what the fuck does a dentist's hair look like?
>>
>>61877952

Ramones self titled came out in 76.

Stay lpeb.opinion voided.

See what I mean about being sleep deprived? I knew I forgot that one.

That album doesn't have a lot of memorable stuff outside the title track. Plaster Caster is a song most of us can do without.
>>
>>61878921
Too bad that Millenials remember him more as a faggot-tier political mouthpiece than a rocker.

>>61877952
78 gave us 78rpm classic records
