Naw but for real, as far as the direction of their experimentation goes, i'd be real interested in hearing some more subdued parts as well. Maybe bring back some of the tribal sounding drums like they had on Fuck That or Come Up and Get Me, but slower and more punctuated on the synths... I guess what i'm saying is I want Bootleg but with actual words to it.
I was also a big fan of that goofy shit going on in the 3rd track of Fashion Week, and the way the song just kinda sounded like it was falling all over itself, it'd be cool to see if ride could ever manage to put a verse on that, or at least if they could expand around that loop.
There are quite a few ways i'd like to see them take their music. The darker and weirder the better.

I agree, one thing I'd also enjoy is having some long spacious even ambient or drone-ish tracks. Especially considering how straight forward JD was it would be a great contrast, but then again it's not really DG's style.

Yeahhhh that was more or less just an afterthought i got sidetracked by. The basic idea of the song going through subtle changes every few repetitions is important though, and applying that concept elsewhere, like in a slow ambient section... It could be some real dissociating shit.

It depends on what 'accepting yourself' means to you and how literally you take those words.
I'm very pedantic like that, I don't like the idea of accepting oneself in the classical sense. I think sometimes, it's better to remove the idea of a 'self' and be in a constant state of transition. "throw the rule-book out the window" so to speak. How other people see you as a character is fine, but it's not something you yourself should spend time developing and worrying about. You learn stuff and see stuff and eventually you forget the idea of "accepting" anything because what you might have accepted yesterday, might not withstand the same internal scrutiny in a week or a month. So you just let go and do what you feel like. So in that sense, you're still accepting yourself without accepting yourself directly.
