Do we have to keep having these threads though? There was one yesterday, and another a few days back... and of course it's almost always the same OSTs posted each and every time - mostly because the OP asks for "favourite" game soundtracks. I will /always/ say JSR/F (and mention Hideki Naganuma's extended discography), NeoTokyo, some fighting game music, and so on.
Would discussion be a bit more fruitful if we focused on newer stuff? Games don't come out nearly as often as music does however... How about asking about smaller releases? Don't know.

Most of Rare's games back then had downright AMAZING soundtracks.
Super Mario Galaxy is probably my favorite soundtrack of them all though. Beautifully orchestrated and breathes a lot of life into the levels.
Hotline Miami 1 and 2 also have great soundtracks, but some of the songs just feel incomplete without the chaotic rampage that ensues in there.
Ori and the Blind Forest is also damn good, more atmospheric than anything though.
