So I need some tips about singing, I can hit the notes but it's the voice I got a problem with, I don't know how to word it but it feels like I'm doing something wrong to get my singing voice rather than using my talking voice if you get what I mean?

Another thing to note is that he's not too interesting a speaker, so you might need a coffee or two to get through it.
You can check some of his not-unlisted videos to see that's he's actually a pretty good singer; on his email list he showed how bad he sucked when he first got lessons (2004), and he couldn't hit above a middle C -- at all. He's pretty legit. I actually practiced his stuff for about 40 minutes and improved markedly.
