I think that Agaetis and ( ) are both valid answers, just comes down to personal preference.
Personally I feel like ( ) had potential to carry their early sound in a darker direction but didn't always deliver, while Agaetis was consistently strong.
Takk was good too but it does feel a little phoned-in, there are a lot of predictable crescendos and generic 3rd-wave post-rock progressions.
They fell off hard after that, Med sud is an overly-poppy mess, and Valtari is MAYBE an EP's worth of ideas stretched into a long album. Kveikur is a step in the right direction, but I still don't think it holds a candle to their early stuff.
