they are not as bad as people say they are. People say they are "disco" but I disagree. Disco music is known for the drum loops, and the dance/party lyrics. The Bee Gees only have one true disco studio album, which is Children of the World, and I think it is shit. Saturday Night Fever is a soundtrack with original music, and while it is disco, listen to the lyrics of Stayin' Alive, and you will hear it is about surviving in the city and not about dancing.
Their other albums fall into more soft rock/pop, folk-country, 80s/90s contemporary, psychedelic, and R&B.
