Ouroboros is a record inspired by the echoing of ideas and symbols through time. What ancient pondered, so does modern man. What they dreamed, we have dreamed as well. The songs on this record represent a myriad of concepts. Liminal transition. Sacred geometry. The unconscious. Meditation.
>>61790513
I'm really into this. The production is on point. Cool stuff with the duet vocals too. Well performed too. I wish there was more vocals tho. Eyes is a real nice track, the groove is a cool build up. Reminds me a bit of Slint.
>>61790410
Really interesting. The atmosphere is chilling. The vocals get drowned out in the atmosphere tho, if that was your intent, then I'm on board but out of context it kinda takes away from the track.
>>61790371
Excellent pop punk. The production is a bit bass-y for my taste. But the melodies are catchy as fuck (they'd probably be more infectious if I knew Icelandic). Punchier production and this would be perfect.
>>61790302

Perplexing release. Southern folk and drone are strange mix. Aesthetically, it works I think.

Your stuff is pretty good for home-recorded stuff but I think it might be a bit too minimalist for me. Cool messy guitar solo in C though.

i liked it. it reminded me of osamu sato's transmigration (minus the world-like elements). all of the synths you used were fantastic, the melodies were great, the mixing isn't bad but it needs some tweaking, the drums could've also been improved upon but's not too distracting. overall though, it's a very good track.

i really like this. it's drones sort of remind me of a church organ. it's very calming, but there are a lot of elements to it that make me feel slightly on edge the entire time. great stuff!
>>61790249
a lot of the guitar work on tape two sounds very good, but the audio distortion at points can take away from the details in the work. it's a very interesting approach, and though it's not perfect here, i'm curious to see how you'll develop it.

First of all - I believe that the whole thing could be mixed a bit higher. By that I mean volume of course. Mainly tracks that are synth-based are a bit low for me personally. Maybe on Rise of the Rektagon I kinda feel that the kick is breaking track. I know it suppose to be loud but I feel like it is making really messy breaks in the track. But that's mostly minor complains really.

Hmm okay I see what you're saying about Rise of the Rektagon. I actually intended for the kick to be sidechaining the bass and certain synths in various parts of the track. It was a stylistic choice, of course its not for everyone though. I really appreciate this feedback.

This new single called "Worth It" has some Toronto vibes, over "trappier" production than what I've previously done.

Hello everyone. I know that none of you care but I lost my friend today. Nick Plante died in a car accident during a mild snowstorm we got earlier, leaving me and Do The Quiet in charge of the Lattice Collective. Nick sent us a lot of demos and unreleased material which we're currently working on now. Expect a massive compilation in his dedication in the next few months.
