Sure it's stupid to listen to any music for special occasions. Not as stupid as denying that Bowie was a literal god though.

Lack of Afro is the recording name of Adam Gibbons, born and raised in Exeter, Devon.
Born into a musical family, Adam started playing the piano at the age of 7, taking lessons from his grandmother. He started the alto saxophone at the age of 11 and had progressed to Grade 8 by the time he was 17.
Musical influences at this early stage included Motown, Soul, Jazz and all forms of Sixties music, courtesy of his father’s record collection.
Meanwhile when he was 15 he had been shown simple beats on the drum kit by his uncle and he then took this further by playing along to records in his lunch-breaks at school.
His music has elements of Funk, Soul and Jazz blended with tight breaks and Adam’s distinctive production.
>>61787686
Sol was a bit disappointing
Ougenweide started the entire medieval folk rock movement in the 1970s and it feels like they forgot all about their roots here and bought into the easy-listening, relaxing faux-folk craze of the 90s
it's not a thoroughly bad album though, the vocals are nice, and their interpretations of Gaudete and Ave Maria are great
but overall i wouldn't recommend it
>>61787779
oh, okay.
so I can imply that you don't like Dismemberment Plan - Emergency & I?
WHY?!
>>61787899
Because I like breaks, downtempo, boogie, funk, soul, turntablism, broken beat, jazz, trad folk and chamber music.
>>61786842
>>61787926
wow... I haven't met many people who don't like that album...
I jizz on it about everyday. I have an obsession with it.
>>61787993
i dont like it either
>>61787686
I like Visionist, although some of his releases can be a bit lacklustre. Most are worth a listen however, if you were ever interested in the "second generation" of grime / grime instrumentals in general, he should probably be in the list of contenders of who to listen to.
'M' is probably my favourite track by him. His new album 'Safe' is also pretty sick.
