What do you think of Ladytron?
There's something about them. I'm not sure why, but they're always on the tip of my tongue.

Playgirl
Destroy Everything You Touch
and that's all there is to them
>>61786736
I'm not sure if you're trolling or you're for real...
Pretty mediocre band.
I like them since I heard that 21 single when it came out like 13-14 years ago. That girl is really pretty too.
>>61786790
What's their best song in your opinion?
>>61786818
I don't really have one considering they're pretty unengaging musically.
>>61786833
Whatever. Shame that their music doesn't have any effect on you.
>>61786818
>>61786805
17, long live Kraut.

>>61786805
Seventeen is utterly awesome. Love how they achieved so much with so little elements.
Also long live shoegazing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvK_AY5gfeY
>>61786922
I'd give her iron curtains the eastern bloc, if you get my drift. ;^)
Whose voice do you prefer more: of Helen (the soft voiced one) or of Mira (the deep voiced one)?
>>61787156
2 songs with each one of them:
Helen - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBmpgu-cb4I
Mira - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoCxJkoiDJo

What do you guys think of Daniels vocals.
I think this is the only song you can hear him.
>>61786818
Best song? I don't know, but my favorite album is Velocifero
i have a pretty vivid memory of being the only person sitting in a bar in the city in the middle of an early february night after seeing a band live, dead drunk and deeply miserable, waiting for the train home, and seeing the video for runaway on the bar's TV
beyond that, i have no connection to this band
>>61787313
>What do you guys think of Daniels vocals.
Good vocals. He also sings backing vocals on International Dateline: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaO3AXaiTIc
>Best song? I don't know, but my favorite album is Velocifero
Witching Hour for me
>>61787459
You should check their music
>>61786119
>every single fucking day
ADULT. is better t b h
>>61790651
I don't think they are better. They don't really have good songs or great vocals and the production is too basic.
I want to cuddle with Helen t.b.h.
>>61790610
this
OP what are you doing with yourself
>>61790779
Filter this band if you have a problem
>>61790853
gargle my sack faggot
>>61791578
>literally implying that he's a faggot
You're really dumb, dickhead
>>61790610
I think he's trying to make them relevant. They were one of those bands that never really had a breakout hit.
>>61791749
Actually I want to discuss about them. As you can see there are some people interested. It's not like they're a new band that need promotion.
What's their best album, anons?
Check'em, btw.
>>61791991
Any album from their first 4 could be considered their best. Witching Hour is the popular choice though.
>>61791690
fuck you and fuck ladytron
>>61791749
they haven't been relevant since they signed to nettwerk
>>61793828
Fuck you and fuck your comment
>>61793873
Velocifero & Gravity the Seducer were their most commercially successful albums. Also why people are so fucking obsessed with relevancy? Coldplay are relevant and yet they're mediocre.
Should I buy Witching Hour and Velocifero on vinyl?
>>61794165
I like their new album.Who died and made you the god of relevancy?
>>61794213
Sure. They look and sound great.
>>61794263
Check also Marnie's debut album Crystal World if you liked their latest album
>Who died and made you the god of relevancy?
Not sure what do you mean by this
>>61794488
I like her debut more than Gravity the Seducer, but I'm more looking forward to new Ladytron than another solo album
>>61795723
There will be another solo album plus a new Ladytron album. Hopefully both will be released this year.
>>61787156
I like the songs Helen and Mira duet on the most usually. I'm going to go with Marnie since she has vocals on more Ladytron songs and even a solo album. I enjoy almost every song by Ladytron so this is the only way to decide for sure.
What do you guys think of Gravity the Seducer?
>>61796647
It's very underrated in my opinion. This album really grow on you if you listen to it at least 4 times. Highlights: Ace of Hz, 90 Degrees, Mirage, White Elephant, Ambulances, Altitude Blues, Ritual.
>>61796462
Same. Mira's vocals add some variety though. The songs with her singing in Bulgarian are delicious.

Only ever listened to one song by them
Ghost in me
pretty good.
>>61797505
Ghosts is a cool song
>a-am i still relevant?
every day
>>61798555
Yes
>>61799854
>those nipples
>>61794115
>I know u r but what am I duuuur
Look guys, he posted them again
All that's missing in this thread is the "Brian Eno likes them" post
>>61800287
i dunno, i'm here because of my waifu
>>61800287
You forgot about Trent Reznor...
>>61800287
I'd buy a Ladytron album produced by Brian Eno.
>>61801312
A Ladytron album produced by Brian Eno would be amazing. Eno knows they're the real deal in electropop: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RS0NGfXSz68
>>61801405
>he FUCKING posted it!
>>61786119
comfy video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ii8DPQ3lVI8
>>61801576
Yeah. More people should know about it.
Do you think they would be good as a krautrock band? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yeAugTX0dEg
>>61801405
Brian Eno also produced Mylo Xyloto by Coldplay. Just because he's a good artist and producer doesn't mean he has good taste
>>61802703
You'll be back tomorrow, faggot.
>>61802739
He has good taste. He also produced that album for the money. You can't expect masterpieces non-stop.
>>61802743
Fuck off faggot
>>61802811
Suck my cock.
>>61802811
He also produced a shitload of U2 albums but I guess you're going to say that was for the money too
>>61786119
>tfw Velocifero is becoming your favorite Ladytron album
So many good songs on there: Black Cat, Runaway, Predict The Day, Deep Blue, Tomorrow, Versus...
>>61787156
Difficult to choose but I'd go with Marnie's since she's the main voice of the band. Black Cat has my favorite Mira vocals.
>>61787313
His vocals on Versus are fucking amazing and I wonder if that's just an exception or if he could reach the same quality on more songs.
Also,
>>61796647
Definitely my least favorite of the bunch, but it does have its moments. Ace Of Hz is the highlight and I have to say Moon Palace is a really creative song.
Plus it has Aces High as an outro.
>>61801745
i like these grainy, low-def videos, nooks and crannies of youtube
thanks.
