Hip hop (no vocals)
Vocal hip hop (with rapping)
Or maybe, get this, rap and instrumental hip hop, turntablism, illbient, trip hop etc are all wildly different subgenres of the same hip hop umbrella and it makes perfect sense to use the different genre labels depending on what type of hip hop you are talking about.
So in this instance, I meant the hip hop with rapping = rap. Not the turntable scratching and beat juggling subgenre called turntablism for example.
